ACT Alliance Secretariat
Status: certification valid until March 2025. 135 member organisations are engaged in humanitarian, development and advocacy work in over 120 countries across the world.
ACT Church of Sweden
Status: certification was cancelled in September 2023. The registration for independent verification is currently pending. Defending people’s dignity and rights, ACT Church of Sweden has been certified against the CHS since 2016.
Action Against Hunger UK
Action Against Hunger UK is an international charity committed to saving the lives of malnourished children and supporting their families to beat hunger.
Action Aid Group
ActionAid is a global federation working for a world free from poverty and injustice. We want to see a just, fair and sustainable world, in which everybody enjoys the right to a life of dignity, and freedom from poverty and oppression.
ADRA Denmark
Status: certification valid until October 2025. ADRA Denmark is a large international development and emergency aid organisation.
ADRA International
We are the global humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church—part of the 20-million strong Adventist community, with hundreds of thousands of churches globally and the world’s largest integrated healthcare and education network.

Building Foundation Yemen
Status: certification valid until June 2026. Building Foundation for Development (BFD) is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation.

CAFOD
Status: certification valid until March 2024. Member of a global Church network with a presence in 165 countries to help those who are truly in need.
CARE International Confederation
A global leader within a worldwide movement dedicated to saving lives and ending poverty.
Caritas Denmark
Status: certification valid until March 2026. Founded in 1947, Caritas Denmark is one of Denmark’s oldest humanitarian organisations.
Christian Aid
Status: certification valid until March 2024. We are a partnership of people, churches and local organisations committed to ending poverty worldwide.
CISU
CISU - Civil Society in Development is an independent association of 270+ Danish Civil Society Organisations (CSOs). All members are together with partners actively engaged in development work in Asia, Africa, Latin America or Eastern Europe - either as their main engagement or as part of their activities.
COAST Foundation
Status: certification valid until January 2026. The Bangladeshi organisation COAST Foundation has been certified agains the CHS since 2018.
Concern Worldwide
Status: certification valid until October 2024. An international humanitarian organisation that strives for a world free from poverty, fear and oppression.

Dan Church Aid
Status: certification valid until January 2025. Showing leadership and maintaining 100 years of tradition for action and innovation.
Danish Red Cross
Status: certification valid until October 2025. About 13 million volunteers in 192 countries form the core of the Red Cross. In Denmark, we are almost 35,000 volunteers.
Danish Refugee Council
Status: certification valid until August 2026. The Danish Refugee Council assists refugees and internally displaced persons in 40 countries across the globe.
Danmission
Danmission is an independent mission organisation rooted in the Danish National Church.
Developmental Action without Borders / Naba’a
Status: certification valid until September 2025. Naba’a is a non-profit Lebanese organisation, which works with Palestinian, Lebanese and Syrian communities.
Diakonia
Status: certification valid until September 2025. Diakonia is a faith-based Swedish development organisation supporting and working with around 400 local partner organisations.
Dorcas
We empower people who are marginalised to develop their talents. And we enable disadvantaged communities to flourish. We equip individuals and communities to promote and ensure participation of all. We fight poverty, exclusion and crisis.

Evangelical Fellowship of India Commission on Relief (EFICOR)
Status: certification valid until November 2026. EFICOR was founded in 1967 and has been on a journey of transformation since then.

Finn Church Aid
Status: certification valid until June 2025. The largest Finnish international aid organisation.
Friendship
Status: certification valid until February 2026. We are an international Social Purpose Organisation guided by a vision of a world where people — especially the hard-to-reach and unaddressed — have equal opportunities to live with dignity and hope.

HIHFAD
Status: certification valid until November 2026. HiHFAD provides on-the-ground support for innocent civilians displaced, in danger and in need as a result of the conflict in Syria.

International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation (IBC)
Status: certificate withdrawn on 09 November 2020. IBC was initiated to improve the lives of the people suffering, especially the most disadvantaged section of the world population.
International Rescue Committee
Status: certification valid until April 2026. The International Rescue Committee responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises, including the conflict in Ukraine and the crisis in Afghanistan.
Islamic Relief Worldwide
Status: certification valid until May 2026. A global NGO, working in more than 40 countries providing emergency aid & long-term development, and campaigning for change.

Medair
Status: certification valid until March 2026. Medair is an international humanitarian organisation to relieve human suffering in some of the world’s most remote and devastated places.
Mission East
Status: certification valid until July 2025. Mission East is an early adopter of the CHS.

Norwegian Church Aid
Status: certification valid until May 2026. Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) works with people and organisations around the world in their struggle to eradicate poverty and injustice.
O
Organisation for Rehabilitation and Development in Amhara (ORDA)
Status: delisted from the independent verification scheme on February 4th 2021. ORDA was founded in February 1984 as Ethiopian Relief Organisation (ERO).
Oxfam
Status: certification until December 2025 Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to build a future where everybody enjoys equal rights and has enough to eat every day.

Plan International is an independent development cooperation and humanitarian aid organisation.

Status: certification valid until August 2025. Takaful Alsham was established in 2012 by a group of Syrian volunteers in response to the humanitarian crisis in Syria
Tearfund
Status: certification valid until March 2024. When disaster strikes, Tearfund is ready to respond.
Tearfund Netherlands
Status: certification valid until August 2026 Tearfund Netherlands is a Christian charity dedicated to alleviating poverty and injustice by partnering with local organisations and churches.
TPO Uganda
Since 1994, we have supported and partnered with civil society organisations and government to empower communities with the skills and tools they need to effectively address their problems.
Trócaire
Status: certification valid until October 2025. Trócaire is an agency of the Irish Catholic Church. They are the Irish member of the Caritas Internationalis federation.

Status: certification valid until February 2024. ZOA is the first-ever Dutch NGO to achieve certification against the CHS.
