ADO
Abs Development Organization for Woman and Child (ADO) is a national, humanitarian, non-profit, non-governmental organization that adopts a strong approach based on a well-thought-out strategy to reach the most vulnerable women, children, displaced and host communities in disadvantaged rural areas of Yemen. Since its establishment in 1996, the organization has promoted an integrated, multi-sectoral response. It has earned the trust of most United Nations agencies, received significant funding, and distinguished itself by focusing on the essence of life (women) and following a community participation approach, because it believes that change begins with the community.
Together for a better life for women, children, and youth — this vision guides their mission to improve living standards for vulnerable groups and minorities. They work inclusively with communities to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions in emergency response, protection and care services, education support, and women’s empowerment, while fostering resilience through enhanced livelihood opportunities. Their values of integrity and accountability, strong partnerships, innovation, prioritizing those most in need, and professionalism ensure that every action contributes to lasting impact and quality outcomes.
