Meet our staff

The secretariat is responsible for managing HQAI’s operations and activities - meaning we coordinate and quality-control the audits; we take audit decisions and support our audited partners throughout the process; we train new auditors, develop new services and constantly improve our methodologies; we cooperate with strategic partners, contribute to learning in the sector and raise funds; we build bridges all along the chain of accountability and create awareness on independent auditing, quality and accountability in the humanitarian and development sector...
We could go on for hours but you get the idea.

The Executive Director heads the secretariat, managing its activities and reporting to the Board of Directors. HQAI has three departments: Quality Assurance, Communication & Marketing and Support Services, including Administration, Finance, HR and IT.

And we are really lucky to have very special people who continually support our actions and thinking. They are not staff but almost :-)
