HQAI warmly thanks Kate Halff and Sawako Matsuo, two of its Board members, for their remarkable contributions. Kate resigns from her mandates as President, from the Board, and from the General Assembly, while Sawako steps down from her Board membership and remains a valued member of the General Assembly.
As two of HQAI's founding members, Kate and Sawako helped establish HQAI’s organisational structure and, through their leadership over the past 11 years, significantly shaped its culture. We formally thank them for this legacy and wish both continued success in their humanitarian work.

At the same time, HQAI is proud to announce the selection of a new Executive Committee of the Board of Directors:

- Nigel Timmins, Vice‑President
- Jason Phillips, Treasurer
It is an honour for the Secretariat to have such a level of experience and skills, combined with humanity and outstanding personalities, to steer HQAI in the years to come. We are grateful for their commitment and extend our sincere congratulations and best wishes for success in their new duties.
Their leadership will continue to strengthen HQAI’s mission and guide the organisation into the future.
