In summary:
The membership involves a non-paid role in HQAI’s Advisory and Complaint Board (ACB). A gratifying pro bono involvement with a unique quality assurance mission for the humanitarian ecosystem. The Advisory and Complaint Board (ACB) safeguards the rules of impartiality, confidentiality and avoiding conflicts of interests in the work of HQAI.
Tasks and responsibilities include, amongst others:
- Participate in ACB online meetings at least twice a year
- Participate in sample-based quality control of certification decisions once per year
- provide ad hoc support to the secretariat
- Join an Appeal Panel if necessary
Start date: Q3 2026
Duration: 4 years
Specificities: Pro-Bono Governance position; 10% of time engagement
