Egecan Asan
Egecan is an Audit Coordinator at HQAI, with extensive experience in international humanitarian and development organisations. He has worked under major donor frameworks including KfW, BMZ, DANIDA, ECHO, USAID, and EuropeAid, ensuring compliance, transparency, and efficiency in financial operations. His expertise covers donor reporting, audits, and financial administration, all driven by a commitment to accountability and quality in the humanitarian sector.
Prior to joining HQAI, Egecan held finance positions with GIZ, the Danish Refugee Council, CARE International, and Chemonics International across Turkey. He has managed contracts, supported audits, trained staff, and overseen financial systems such as SAP, DRC Dynamics, PeopleSoft, and ABACUS. Holding a master’s degree in business administration, he brings both technical proficiency and a dedication to continuous improvement in humanitarian programming.
