As someone working in the humanitarian sector, accountability is one of the most important elements of work—first and foremost to affected populations. Particularly during crises and disasters, the delivery of quality programming is an ethical obligation and moral imperative. HQAI works to uphold quality assurance and aligns itself with the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS).

HQAI is special in that it brings together a diverse group of stakeholders from both within and beyond the humanitarian and development sector. This diversity allows for stronger expertise, creativity, and contribution in furthering HQAI's mission.
