Simon is a humanitarian accountability and quality assurance specialist with over 20 years of experience working with local and international NGOs. An independent auditor with HQAI, he is dedicated to strengthening due diligence, transparency, and learning within the sector. He is a member of the CHS Verification Advisory Panel (CHS Alliance). He holds a D. Phil , an MBA, BCom and professional certifications as a CPA and CS.
His career includes transformative roles as CEO, Finance and administration Manager and Chief Accountant several in several Local and Regional NGOs in Kenya. where he managed multi-donor projects, and as Managing Partner of his own audit firm. His other competences span strategy, financial analysis, and governance, complemented by his academic roles and board membership with CBM UK.
