Dorte Busch
Dorte is an independent consultant based in Denmark. Her 25 years of experience include longer term employments with the UN and civil society organisations in Africa and Denmark, and 12 years of consultancies.
Dorte has designed, reviewed and monitored development and humanitarian programmes in Africa, South Asia, South East Asia, the Middle East and Central Europe. She holds substantial experience from working with good governance, capacity development and capacity assessments of civil society organisations, and has a strong focus on community engagement and accountability, and gender equality, including prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse.
Based on her practice, Dorte has an excellent understanding of the operations of larger international civil society organisations as well as of local organisations, and she is conversant with organisations being directly operational and working through partners.
Dorte is experienced in planning and facilitating participatory processes with local, national and international stakeholders.
