PARC
The Agricultural Development Association (PARC) is a prominent Palestinian non-governmental organisation dedicated to achieving sustainable rural development and national food security. Its primary activities focus on the modernisation of the agricultural sector by providing technical assistance, rehabilitating damaged lands, and developing vital water infrastructure for irrigation. By supporting small-scale farmers and promoting innovative farming techniques, PARC seeks to enhance local production, protect natural resources, and strengthen the resilience of rural communities against socio-economic challenges.
In addition to its technical agricultural work, PARC is deeply committed to social empowerment, economic justice, and emergency humanitarian relief. The association places a significant emphasis on the economic inclusion of women and youth through specialised training programmes and the promotion of agricultural cooperatives. Furthermore, PARC plays a crucial role in advocacy and institutional capacity building, ensuring that the rights of marginalized populations are protected and that local civil society remains a robust force in the pursuit of sustainable development and community well-being.
