Alliance Technique d’assistance au Développement

The Alliance Technique d’Assistance au Développement (ATAD) is a non-governmental organisation based in Burkina Faso, dedicated to promoting sustainable development within local communities. Founded in 2000, ATAD focuses on strengthening community capacities, supporting local resource management, and advocating for inclusive public policies, particularly in the Centre-Nord, Nord, and Sahel regions.

ATAD adopts a participatory approach to development, empowering vulnerable groups to take an active role in their own progress. Through training centres like the Centre de Formation Agropastorale et Artisanale (CFAA), the organisation provides practical education in sustainable farming, livestock management, and product transformation, helping to enhance local resilience and promote gender equity.
