IPBF

IPBF (Pananetugri Initiative for Women's Well-being) has been working since 2011 in nine French-speaking West African countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Togo) to promote the rights, leadership and full development of girls and young women. Its actions include the development of leadership clubs in schools and training institutions, capacity building for local girls'/women's associations, information, education and communication campaigns to deconstruct gender stereotypes and harmful social norms, as well as studies and documentation to better understand their realities.

It also conducts vigorous advocacy work with public authorities, traditional and religious leaders, and international donors to promote the adoption and enforcement of laws protecting the rights of women and girls, and to ensure that development policies take their specific needs into account. In addition, it manages the Pananetugri Fund, an accessible and flexible financing mechanism for groups led by girls/women, to encourage innovation, formalisation and local action for social change.
